I am Pooja Kaushal, instructional designer, content writer, content creator and blogger. Professionally I have been an instructional designer since 2004 and forayed into content writing alongside – sometimes full time, some times freelance. I have worked with leading names in the industry like Tata Interactive System as well as with startups. Range of assignments include systems training, soft skills training, educational content, process training, compliance, healthcare procedures, to name some. Modes of training include web-based, mobile, ILTs, virtual reality.
Over the years, my role has evolved far beyond instructional design. I've worked on learning strategy, curriculum development, digital learning, content creation, learning operations, quality assurance, accreditation support, and AI-enabled learning initiatives. Every project has reinforced one belief—that effective learning is not about delivering information, but enabling people to perform with confidence.
Whether working with global organisations or growing businesses, my focus has remained the same: creating learning that is practical, engaging, and aligned with business goals.
Learning should never exist simply to complete a training requirement.
It should help people solve problems, make better decisions, develop confidence, and perform more effectively in their roles.
I believe the best learning experiences are built by combining instructional design principles, business understanding, learner empathy, and the right technology. Tools may evolve, but good learning design remains timeless.
In my second role as a blogger, I am the creator, manager and owner of three website in three categories – food, craft, and journaling. These were born as a hobby to pursue my interest in cooking, crocheting and writing.
If you're looking for a learning consultant who combines instructional design expertise with strategic thinking and practical experience, I'd love to hear about your project.
